Google Cloud, Salesforce partner to offer combined cloud, software solutions

Salesforce announced Google Cloud will be its preferred public cloud provider, which will enable companies to better merge customer data with analytics tools. Forrester’s Dave Bartoletti said the deal will allow companies to expand their “use of Salesforce development tools, plus dabble in Google’s machine learning apps, and link up Salesforce and Gmail.”
