The InterWeave Business Daemon
The InterWeave Integration Platform consists of the InterWeave Integration server, Business Daemon and Development Environment and is written in Java. It has three main program components; the InterWeave Integration server, Business Daemon and the Solutions Development Kit (SDK) These form the InterWeave Foundation version 4.01.
The InterWeave Transformation Server
The business daemon handles all the transaction scheduling (integration flow), and failover configuration. It has built in redundancy and failover management and can coordinate a distributed group of transformation servers. This application is configured via a file called config.xml that the business daemon reads on start-up.
The InterWeave Solution Development Kit (SDK)
The Solution Development Kit (SDK), which allows end-users and SI’s to create new solutions and inject them into the transformation server. Solutions in InterWeave are a combination of transaction definitions (via transactions.xml or soltran.xslt) and the XSLT templates used to execute the transaction definitions. InterWeave processes are written in markup which is compiled before being deployed. The markup defines transactions or units-of-work to be performed by the server. A transaction consists of one or more transaction steps where each step may involve some form of business logic or access to an "information source".

Scheduled transaction flows run every 10 minutes from the InterWeave Scheduling and Configuration Utility. This provides the near-time synchronization of data between your CRM and your Financial Accounting Applications.
Monitor & Maintain
To see the status of transactions initiated from your login profile, select the IW Monitor link which will open and you will see the status of all transactions assigned to you and that you have initiated. If you did not start a transaction, all statuses will be shown as stopped.
